Root Cause Therapy is an emotion focused body-mind trauma healing method to help process unresolved emotions.
Trapped emotions are understood to be involved in the basic cause for physical pain, limiting beliefs and unhelpful behaviours and keep us stuck in repetitive and often unhealthy patterns and cycles.
Root Cause Therapy is a healing practice that uses regression and progression formulas which allow for a time-independent completion of unprocessed emotions, even for those times when we were not yet verbal and wouldn’t cognitively know how to name our experiences or for those times in the future that we haven’t yet experienced but are already afflicted with anticipatory anxiety or dread.
The power of this method lies in the way that it works on all levels of our minds -- the conscious mind and the unconscious mind, where our automatic learnt behaviours and bottled-up emotions reside. This deeper level healing permits real long-term change.
Root Cause Therapy incorporates tenets of EMDR, Kinesiology, Timeline Therapy and Counselling.
It’s also a technique that allows the liberation from unbound trauma wounding within cultural belief systems, (inter)generational lines and past lives.

My deep connection to the Earth and gratitude for her generous gifts led me to explore the healing powers of plants and herbs. During my own journey of trauma healing, I sought alternative medical support to soothe physical and mental symptoms, and I discovered the profound wisdom in nature’s offerings. This journey brought me to the practice of Holistic Herbalism, also known as Sensory Herbalism, which goes beyond the analytical approach of Western Herbal Medicine. It focuses not only on restoring health through plant-based remedies but also on building a deep, intuitive relationship with plants through our senses, dreams, archetypes, and symbols that transcend time and culture.
Many of the plants I work with have become trusted allies, helping me find balance, resilience, and a sense of safety and belonging during difficult times. They have also deepened my connection with the sensory world, offering valuable insights that have reshaped my perspectives and rekindled my imagination and creativity.
